Generation Beta is set to emerge in 2025, following Generation Alpha, bringing new challenges and opportunities for the future
Melbourne: A new generation is on the horizon! Generation Beta is set to kick off in 2025, taking over from Generation Alpha. This new group will include everyone born from 2025 to 2039.
Mark McCrindle, the guy who helped name the last two generations, says this shift is pretty significant. He chose the Greek alphabet to mark a big change, especially with all the tech advancements coming our way.
Generation Beta will be the first to grow up in a world where AI is everywhere. Plus, they’ll be raised by parents who are tech-savvy and use gadgets as part of their parenting. But it’s not all sunshine and rainbows; they’ll face some serious challenges like climate change and urbanization.
McCrindle points out that sustainability will be a must for this generation. Their Millennial and older Gen Z parents are all about adaptability and eco-friendliness, so those values will be passed down.
As for the older generations, Gen Z is now hitting their late 20s, while Millennials are well into adulthood. Gen X is nearing retirement, so it’s a whole new ball game for the younger folks.
So, what’s next for these generations? Well, it’s a fascinating time to be alive, and we’re all curious to see how things unfold!
