London: West Ham had a rough day at the office, losing 2-0 to Crystal Palace. The match turned sour for them when Konstantinos Mavropanos got sent off late in the game.

Palace struck first after halftime with a goal from Jean-Philippe Mateta. Mavropanos picked up a second yellow card for a high boot on Mateta, which sealed his fate.

Things got worse when Eddie Nketiah won a penalty, and Mateta converted it, making it 2-0. This loss leaves Graham Potter with just one win in his first three matches as West Ham’s manager.

Dom Smith was there to rate the players, and it wasn’t pretty. Lukasz Fabianski struggled, giving away a penalty and failing to stop Mateta’s powerful shot.

Mavropanos had a rough outing too, getting booked early and then sent off. Potter really needs Jean-Clair Todibo back to shore up the defense.

Max Kilman also had a tough time, allowing Mateta too much space for the opener. Aaron Cresswell didn’t impress either, getting subbed off early in the second half.

On the bright side, Aaron Wan-Bissaka did well on the right wing, and Mohammed Kudus tried to make things happen, but it just wasn’t enough.

Lucas Paqueta worked hard but was subbed off too soon, which seemed a bit unfair. The substitutes didn’t make much of an impact either, leaving fans disappointed.
