Croydon: The latest rankings are out, and they highlight the best primary schools in the area. Parents can now see which schools are really shining in the 2023-24 academic year.
Despite the bumps from Covid-19, Croydon schools have done well. In fact, 65% of Year 6 pupils hit the expected standards in reading, writing, and maths, which is better than the national average of 61%.

2. St John’s CofE Primary School

4. St Aidan’s Catholic Primary School and Winterbourne Junior Girls’ School
Sharing fourth place are St Aidan’s Catholic Primary School and Winterbourne Junior Girls’ School, both with 84% of pupils meeting the standard.
6. Forest Academy, Keston Primary School, and Margaret Roper Catholic Primary School
In sixth place, we have Forest Academy, Keston Primary School, and Margaret Roper Catholic Primary School, where 83% of students achieved the expected level.
