A 19-year-old from Epsom has been sentenced to 30 months for drug offenses following a police operation targeting local drug supply.
Epsom: A 19-year-old guy named Ronnie Belcher just got sentenced for dealing drugs. He was caught in a police operation aimed at shutting down a county line in the area.
Belcher, who lives on Gibraltar Crescent, was handed a 30-month prison term at Guildford Crown Court. The court found him guilty of several serious charges, including having drugs with the intent to sell.
He was arrested back in May 2024 when police raided his home after getting tips about his drug activities. They found a stash of Class A, B, and C drugs, plus a hefty £8,000 in cash.
They also seized his phone, which had messages related to drug deals. Inspector Tommy Pearson from the local police emphasized how drugs can really hurt communities and stressed the importance of working together to tackle this issue.
He encouraged anyone with information about drug dealing in their area to come forward, saying that even a small tip can help build a bigger picture of organized crime.
