Cardiff: Wynne Evans is heartbroken after losing his brother Huw. The talented Welsh opera singer shared the news on social media, posting some lovely throwback photos of them together.

Huw was the oldest of three brothers and worked as a criminal barrister. Wynne also has another brother, Mark, with whom he co-hosted a show called Sibling Rivalry.

In his emotional Instagram post, Wynne wrote, “I’m so sad to say that my gorgeous eldest brother has passed away. My big brother was my hero and my inspiration.” It’s clear how much Huw meant to him.

Wynne, who was on last year’s Strictly Come Dancing, expressed how much he will miss Huw. He said, “I’m so glad I got to have you with me all my life.”

His friends from the show, including fellow contestants, quickly reached out to offer their support. Amy Dowden, another Strictly star, sent him love, while Dr. Punam Krishan expressed her condolences.

Even Tasha Ghouri and Nancy Xuxi showed their support with heart emojis. It’s nice to see everyone rallying around him during this tough time.

Wynne is set to join the Strictly Live Tour starting in Birmingham on January 17. He’s been sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses from rehearsals, which might help lift his spirits.

The tour will hit several cities, including Newcastle, Glasgow, Liverpool, Leeds, Manchester, and Nottingham, wrapping up at the London O2 Arena on February 9.

This year, all four Strictly judges will be part of the tour, which is exciting! Janette Manrara will be hosting, so it should be a fantastic event.
