London: This week, some Southeastern trains are getting cancelled or diverted because of engineering work. It’s all happening from Monday to Friday, so if you’re traveling, you might want to check your plans.

They’re doing work on different parts of the Southeastern network, which means some lines will be closed overnight. So, if you’re planning to travel, it’s good to know what’s going on.

For example, the 10.45pm train from London Charing Cross to Hastings will only run non-stop on certain days. And from 11.45pm, there will be replacement buses running between Tunbridge Wells and Hastings.

On Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, some trains to Dover Priory and Canterbury West will be diverted, so keep an eye out for that. Replacement buses will be available, too, so you won’t be left stranded.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, the train to Dartford will also be diverted, and there will be a bus running between London Bridge and Dartford. Just a heads up if that’s your route!

Later in the week, some trains to Ramsgate and Margate will be replaced by buses as well. It’s a bit of a hassle, but they’re doing this work to keep everything running smoothly in the long run.

So, if you’re traveling this week, make sure to check the Southeastern website or app for the latest updates. Better safe than sorry!
