A woman, 58, died following a moped hit-and-run in Hammersmith, leading to the arrest of two suspects on serious charges.
Hammersmith: It’s a sad story. A 58-year-old woman named Ina Rodrigues was hit by a moped while she was out on Talgarth Road. This happened back in January.
She was rushed to the hospital but sadly passed away about a week later. The moped didn’t stop after the accident and was found abandoned shortly after.
Recently, police arrested a man in his 20s and a woman in her 30s. They’re facing serious charges, including dangerous driving and trying to cover up what happened.
Both of them have been released on bail but will have to return in January for further questioning. If anyone saw the incident or has any info, they’re encouraged to reach out to the police.
It’s a tough situation, and the community is hoping for justice for Ina.
