Manchester: Ruben Amorim is sticking to his guns about Marcus Rashford not being in the squad. He believes Rashford still has a future at Manchester United, but he felt no regret about leaving him out against Tottenham.

This was the second game in a row that Rashford missed, having also been left out during the thrilling derby win over Manchester City. It seems like things are a bit rocky for him at Old Trafford.

Rashford even mentioned in an interview that he’s “ready for a new challenge,” which makes it sound like he’s not too happy with how things are going. Amorim, however, is urging him to stick around and face the challenge at his boyhood club.

Even with Garnacho back in the squad, Rashford didn’t make the cut for the match against Spurs. Amorim explained that he picked the players he thought were ready for the tough game.

After a wild match where United came back from 3-0 down, Amorim still felt confident in his decision. He said if he believes he’s doing the right thing for the team, it’s never a mistake.

Looking ahead, Amorim expects Rashford to train at Carrington and be ready for the next game against Bournemouth. He reassured everyone that Rashford is still a part of the team.

Meanwhile, it seems like some fans aren’t too sympathetic towards Rashford. At the Tottenham game, one banner read: “Excuses. Ta ra Marcus.” It’s clear the fans have strong feelings about this situation.
