Clubbers express outrage over long queues and unsafe conditions at a rave in North London
London: Over the weekend, a rave at Drumsheds turned into a nightmare for many partygoers. They were left frustrated and some even in tears due to the cramped conditions.
People were queuing for hours, feeling unsafe, and demanding refunds for their tickets, which started at £27.50. The rave, UKF15, was supposed to be a blast with acts like Pendulum and Knife Party, but it quickly became a disaster.
One attendee, Lucy, shared her experience on social media, saying she waited two hours just to see a short performance. She felt it was unsafe and wanted her money back. Another fan, Antony, was excited to see Knife Party with his son but left early because of the chaos.
Many others echoed their disappointment, mentioning long waits and poor crowd control. A petition for refunds has already gathered nearly 1,500 signatures.
In response, Drumsheds acknowledged the issues and apologized for the discomfort. They mentioned that they faced unexpected challenges, including longer queues and security measures that contributed to the chaos. They’re now reviewing the situation to improve future events.
