The Queen and Princess of Wales dazzled in green at Sandringham’s Christmas service, showcasing royal unity and festive spirit.
Sandringham: The Queen and Princess of Wales were a sight to see in matching green outfits as they made their way to church on Christmas Day. It was a lovely morning, and the royal family was all smiles.
The King led the way, waving to the crowd as he walked with Camilla, Kate, Prince William, and their kids—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and little Prince Louis. They strolled from Sandringham House to St Mary Magdalene Church, passing by a bunch of excited well-wishers.
Kate looked stunning in a forest green coat dress, paired with a plaid scarf and a chic green hat. Camilla also joined in the festive spirit, wearing a similar shade. It was a real family affair!
Along with them were the Princess Royal and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, making it quite the royal gathering. As they arrived at the church, the Reverend Canon Dr. Paul Rhys Williams greeted them warmly.
Once inside, the National Anthem filled the air, followed by the first hymn, “O Come, All Ye Faithful.” It was a beautiful start to the day.
Among the crowd were two Londoners who had camped out overnight to catch a glimpse of the royals. Retired chef John Loughrey shared how they traveled all the way to Sandringham, braving the damp weather just to support Kate.
“We came here for Catherine. She’s been an inspiration,” he said, showing just how much the public cares. They even brought flowers to give to her!
This year has been tough for the royal family, especially with the King and Kate facing health challenges. The Prince of Wales described it as a “brutal” time, but they’re pushing through.
Kate, who recently completed her cancer treatment, has been slowly returning to public life. On Christmas Eve, she shared a heartfelt message about love and support during tough times, reminding everyone how important it is to be there for one another.
As she reflected on the Christmas story, she emphasized our shared vulnerabilities and the need for connection, especially in challenging moments. It’s clear that the royal family is finding strength in each other this holiday season.
