It all started with a points failure between Clapham Junction and London Waterloo. This caused a major hiccup, and the routes were shut down for hours.
Good news is, the lines are back up and running now. But don’t get too comfy just yet. Trains might still be cancelled or delayed by as much as 60 minutes.
The delays are mainly because of train crew and stock being out of place. They’re saying to expect disruptions until around 4 PM.
According to the National Rail website, there was a problem with multiple sets of points in that area. They’ve reopened all lines, but recovery is still in progress.
