Greenwich: A new six-day music festival is coming to town! It’s called Labyrinth on the Thames, and it’s going to be a blast.

This festival will be held at the stunning Old Royal Naval College, right by the River Thames. Imagine enjoying great music with the London skyline as your backdrop!

Scheduled for the first two weekends of August, this event will focus on contemporary dance music. The creative team behind it is High Scream, who also worked on the Paris 2024 Olympics closing ceremony.

They’re expecting around 60,000 attendees over the six days, which is pretty impressive. The co-founders, Michael Dicks and Nick Castleman, are super excited about this project.

They’ve been working on it for years, and it’s finally happening! They can’t wait to see everyone enjoying the music along the Thames this summer.

Plus, they’re making sure the local community benefits too. There will be priority tickets for residents and partnerships with local suppliers.

Kate Miners from the Old Royal Naval College mentioned how proud they are to host this event. It’s a fantastic way to celebrate music and art while showcasing Greenwich’s rich history.

Stay tuned because the first headline acts will be announced soon. It’s going to be an exciting lineup with both big names and fresh talent!
