London: So, this past Sunday, folks in London decided to ditch their trousers for the annual No Trousers Tube Ride. Can you believe it? Even with the temperatures dropping below zero, they were out there having a blast!

People were spotted all over the Tube, just hanging out in their boxers and knickers. Major stations like South Kensington and Westminster were filled with surprised commuters. It was a chilly 2C, but that didn’t stop the fun!

On the Piccadilly and Circle Lines, seminude riders were causing quite a stir. Some passengers were blushing at the sight, but hey, it’s all in good fun. The organizers even asked participants to keep their underpants low-key, like they just forgot their trousers.

Everyone was encouraged to act totally normal, reading newspapers or listening to music while enjoying the ride. This quirky event started back in 2009, inspired by a similar one in New York City that began in 2002.

It’s not about politics or charity; it’s just a lighthearted prank. The first ride in NYC had just seven guys hopping on the subway, pretending not to notice each other. Fast forward, and now it’s a global event with thousands joining in!

In fact, since 2010, thousands of New Yorkers have participated, and now over 60 cities worldwide, including Berlin and Tokyo, have their own versions. It’s all about having a laugh and embracing the silliness!
