London: The city is gearing up for a nice change in the weather. After some pretty gloomy days, it looks like we’re in for five days of sunshine starting January 3. How great is that?

According to the forecasts, we can expect sunny spells and dry conditions. Temperatures will be around 6°C, but it might feel a bit warmer with the sun shining. Sunday and Monday could even see highs of 9°C!

But hold on, it’s not all smooth sailing. New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day might bring some gusty winds and rain, so keep an umbrella handy. The Met Office says Tuesday will be breezy and mostly cloudy, with just a few bright moments.

It’s been a bit of a mess lately with travel disruptions due to thick fog. Visibility dropped to just 100 meters in some spots, which caused delays at airports like Stansted, Heathrow, and Luton. Gatwick had a whopping 238 delays on Saturday alone!

So, if you’re driving, take it easy out there. The Met Office has also warned about potential snow and rain in Scotland next week, which could cause some significant disruptions as we head into Hogmanay.
