Naples: So, it looks like Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is ready to move on from Napoli. Antonio Conte just confirmed that he’s asked to leave the club. It’s a big deal, especially with Liverpool and Manchester United eyeing him.

Kvaratskhelia, who’s only 23, joined Napoli in July 2022 and helped them win their first Scudetto in 33 years. His current contract runs until 2027, but it seems he’s eager for a change.

Unfortunately, he won’t be playing in Napoli’s upcoming match against Hellas Verona. Conte mentioned that he spoke with Kvaratskhelia, and the player made it clear he wants to leave right away.

Last season, he and Victor Osimhen were a dynamic duo, scoring a total of 38 league goals. Kvaratskhelia even snagged the Serie A Player of the Season award in 2023. It’s a bummer for Conte, who put in a lot of effort to make him feel valued in the team.

Conte expressed his disappointment, saying he worked hard to keep Kvaratskhelia at the center of the project. He’s monitoring the situation but believes it’s ultimately up to the club and the player to decide what happens next.

As for Napoli, they’re currently leading Serie A with 44 points from 19 games. Kvaratskhelia has been doing well this season, scoring five goals and providing three assists in 17 matches. It’ll be interesting to see where he ends up next!
