Bristol: So, Jay McGuiness just gave us the scoop on his bandmate Max George. Max is gearing up for a lung biopsy after getting a pacemaker put in due to some heart issues. Yikes, right?

But here’s the good news! Jay says Max is staying super positive despite everything. He’s been in touch and seems to be handling it all pretty well. Jay mentioned that Max is “keeping super positive” and is doing as well as he can.

These health scares can be really tough, but thankfully, Max is in good hands. The Wanted, which also had Tom Parker, Nathan Sykes, and Siva Kaneswaran, first hit the scene back in 2010 with some catchy tunes.

After a break in 2014, they reunited in 2021 for a greatest hits album and a tour. Sadly, Tom passed away from a brain tumor last year, but Max and Siva are now performing as a duo called The Wanted 2.0.

Meanwhile, Jay is busy with his own career. He’s starring in a musical called & Juliet and even released a fantasy novel last year. He’s not ruling out a return to the band, though. He said, “never say never,” but right now, he’s loving the stage life.

He’s got a steady schedule with the musical, which helps him balance everything. The show is a fun twist on Romeo and Juliet, featuring pop songs we all know and love. Jay describes his character Shakespeare as “very egotistical,” which sounds like a fun challenge!

He kicks off his performances in Bristol on January 15, then heads to London and other cities. If you’re interested in catching the show, check out the website for tickets!
