London: So, there’s this wild story coming out of HMP Wandsworth. An inmate named Linton Weirich, who got into some serious trouble for having sex with a prison officer, was attacked while he was holding his three-month-old baby.

This all went down during a visit at Swaleside Prison in Kent last December. Apparently, he was just there with his girlfriend when another inmate decided to throw a punch. Not cool, right?

Sadly, the baby ended up with a fractured skull but has since been released from the hospital. Thank goodness for that! Kent Police are looking into the whole situation, but they haven’t officially named the inmate who attacked Weirich.

Weirich was moved from HMP Wandsworth after a video of him and former officer Linda De Sousa Abreu went viral. She’s already serving a 15-month sentence for her part in the scandal.

Abreu was caught engaging in a sexual act with Weirich in a prison cell, which is a huge breach of trust. She was arrested at Heathrow while trying to catch a flight to Madrid. Talk about a dramatic exit!

Now, police are investigating the assault that happened during the visit. They’ve confirmed that Weirich was punched and fell onto the baby he was holding. It’s a messy situation, and they’re still figuring out who the attacker was.
