A criminology student has been convicted of murdering Amie Gray at Bournemouth beach, shocking the local community with his violent actions
Bournemouth: A 20-year-old student, Nasen Saadi, has been found guilty of murdering Amie Gray on the beach. He had a strange obsession with true crime and even called himself the “Ninja Killer.”
Saadi, from Croydon, was also convicted of attempting to murder Leanne Miles, who was with Gray that night. They were just chatting by a small fire when the attack happened.
The jury saw footage of Saadi lurking around before he suddenly attacked. It was a terrifying scene, and the audio of the victims’ screams was played in court.
Dr. Basil Purdue, a pathologist, revealed that Gray died from ten stab wounds, including one to her heart. Miles suffered twenty injuries during the brutal attack.
Saadi had a fascination with knives, having bought several online. He even used the name “Ninja Killer” on Snapchat, which is pretty chilling.
He was studying criminology at Greenwich University and had dropped out of a physical education course. His online searches about past murders raised eyebrows among his lecturers.
One lecturer recalled asking him if he was planning a murder after he asked how to get away with it. That’s a huge red flag!
Gray, 34, was stabbed at Durley Chine Beach late at night. Saadi had booked hotels for a four-night stay and was seen on CCTV scouting the area before the attack.
During his stay, he even went to see a horror movie, which seems a bit too on the nose, right? The prosecution suggested he wanted to feel powerful or maybe just couldn’t stand seeing others happy.
Saadi denied the charges, claiming it was a case of mistaken identity, but he did admit to not providing his phone’s pin code to the police. Quite the twist in this tragic story.
