Bromley: Four restaurants in Bromley have made waves this year by winning some impressive awards. It’s a big deal for the local food scene!

If you’re in the mood for a delicious curry or a classic fish and chips, Bromley has got you covered with these award-winning spots that shone in 2024.

The Bombay in Orpington really stood out, snagging multiple awards. And iNaga in West Wickham kept its winning streak alive with another national curry award.

Let’s break down the winners and what made them special this year:

The Bombay, a family-run gem in Orpington, has been serving up tasty Indian dishes for 40 years. This year, they took home three awards, including the Editor’s Choice for the South East at the Curry Life Awards.

They also won Best Restaurant in South East England at the Bangladesh Caterers Awards and were named Casual Dining Restaurant of the Year for London Suburbs at the Asian Curry Awards. Talk about a hat trick!

With a jungle-themed dining area and plans to open a new location in Swanley next year, The Bombay is definitely a place to check out.

Next up is Chatsworth Bakehouse in Crystal Palace. This bakery, which opened in 2021, is known for its delicious pizzas and pastries. It made The Times Top Pizza Places in the UK for 2024, thanks to its popular Grandma Slices topped with hot honey and pepperoni.

Then there’s Crispy Cod in Orpington, famous for its fish and chips. They won a Blue Ribbon at the Good Food Awards 2024, thanks to their consistent quality and rave customer reviews.

Last but not least, iNaga in West Wickham celebrated winning Asian Restaurant of the Year for London Suburbs at the Asian Curry Awards for the second year in a row. Chef Nanu Miah serves up traditional Bangladeshi dishes, paired with a great selection of drinks.
