Film crews have been seen in Greenwich, leading to speculation about a new Apple TV series being filmed in the area
Greenwich: So, some sharp-eyed folks in southeast London noticed film crews out and about this week. They were spotted filming on Greenwich South Street and Greenwich High Road.
Riza Child even snapped some photos showing the crews on big cranes, capturing the action on Greenwich High Road. They even changed the sign on a community center for the shoot!
Now, while nothing’s been officially confirmed, a passerby mentioned that the crew hinted it was for the next season of “Slow Horses.” Sounds exciting, right?
This series, which is produced by Apple TV+, is set to drop its fifth season later this year. Plus, they’re already filming season six in London, according to FilmLondon.org.
In the past, they’ve filmed in other cool spots around London, like Petticoat Market, The Barbican, and Regent’s Park. It’s always fun to see familiar places on screen!
The show is based on the Slough House novels by Mick Herron and stars Gary Oldman as Jackson Lamb, the clever M15 officer leading the team. Oldman even mentioned in an interview that filming for season six is going strong, but we’re still waiting on a release date.
