London: Fearne Cotton has recently opened up about her split from Jesse Wood. On her Happy Place podcast, she talked about feeling “depleted and stressed” and how she wants to change that.

The 43-year-old presenter surprised everyone when she announced her divorce on Instagram. This came just days after she shared some health news about two benign tumors found on her jawline.

In her latest podcast episode, Fearne chatted with Caroline Hirons about the “toxic pressure” women face to juggle everything. She reflected on the tough weeks she’s had, dealing with her health issues, the divorce, and running her business. She said, “The pressure is immense.”

Fearne expressed how women often feel the need to prove themselves, especially when it comes to balancing work and family. She wants to grow and achieve her goals but doesn’t want to feel overwhelmed and unable to enjoy time with her family and friends.

On Friday, she shared the news of their split, saying it was with a “heavy heart” after 10 years of marriage. She emphasized that their children will always be their priority and asked for privacy during this time.

The couple has two kids, Rex, 11, and Honey, 8, and Fearne is also a step-mom to Jesse’s older children from his first marriage. They first met in 2011 while partying in Ibiza and got married in 2014 in a glamorous ceremony in London.

Before the split, Fearne had surgery for her health issues and shared that the operation went well. She’s been recovering and appreciates all the support she’s received.

Interestingly, her friend Davina McCall recently revealed she needed surgery for a rare brain tumor. Fearne described Davina as a “beacon of positivity” during her own health struggles, showing how important friendship can be during tough times.
