London: I recently had the chance to enjoy a four-course Indian feast at a restaurant that’s all about winter train carriages. It was such a fun experience!

If you’re looking for something special this winter, check out Bombay Bustle in Mayfair. They’re currently serving a Winter Carriage menu that’s just perfect for the season.

The restaurant has this lovely vibe, with tables decorated to look like vintage train carriages. It really makes for a cozy dining atmosphere.

We kicked things off with a trio of starters: poppadoms with chutneys, palak patta chaat, and a unique pineapple rasam. I have to say, the pineapple rasam was my favorite. It was this spicy-sweet soup that I’d never tasted before!

Next up was a Tandoori dish. We had the choice of zheenga nisha prawns or paneer tikka sunheri, and we went for the paneer. It was this thick, halloumi-like cottage cheese served with a spicy sauce. So good!

For the main course, we could choose from four options, including mughlai chicken korma and lamb keema biryani. We decided on the chicken korma, which was tender and cooked in a rich brown onion gravy, and the lamb biryani, which was slow-cooked with basmati rice.

Everything was delicious, but I have to give a shoutout to the mughlai chicken korma. It was bursting with flavor, and the urlai roast potatoes were seasoned perfectly!

Even though we were stuffed, we couldn’t resist dessert. We tried the anjeer brownie, which was rich and made with figs, paired with vanilla ice cream. Yum!

This menu is perfect for adventurous eaters. While some dishes were familiar, the whole experience felt like a culinary journey.

The Winter Carriage experience at Bombay Bustle costs £90 per person, and you need to book for at least two people. It’s definitely worth it!
