London: Enzo Maresca has shared the latest scoop on Chelsea’s injury situation. He mentioned that Joao Felix and Romeo Lavia might be back for the game against Everton next weekend.

Both players missed the recent 2-1 victory over Brentford. Lavia is still recovering from a knock he picked up in the match against Tottenham.

With them out, Maresca had to rely on a younger squad for the derby, making only one change late in the game. It was a bit of a tight spot for him.

On the bright side, it looks like Felix and Lavia could return for the trip to Goodison Park. Pedro Neto will also be back after serving a suspension for yellow cards.

But it’s not all good news. Maresca confirmed that Benoit Badiashile has picked up a new injury, and Carney Chukwuemeka and Ben Chilwell are dealing with illness.

“We expect Joao Felix and Romeo Lavia to be available for the next match,” he told the press. “Carney and Chilly are ill, and Pedro was suspended. Reece and Wes are injured, and Benoit felt something during training.”

He added that they’re still figuring out how long Badiashile will be out. Chelsea has a Europa Conference League match against Shamrock Rovers on Thursday before facing Everton in the Premier League.
