A double decker bus collided with a bridge in South Norwood, leaving its roof hanging and prompting a response from emergency services
South Norwood: So, there was this wild incident where a double decker bus crashed into a railway bridge. It happened late at night on December 14, around 10:55 PM.
The Metropolitan Police got the call and rushed over with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service. Thankfully, no one was seriously hurt, and there were no arrests made.
They’re still looking into what exactly went down. A photo from the scene showed emergency responders working hard, with a cordon set up around the area.
It was quite a sight, with the bus’s roof all ripped off and hanging over the back. The London Fire Brigade and ambulance services have been asked for their take on the situation.
