South Norwood: So, there was this crazy incident where a double decker bus crashed into a railway bridge. It happened late at night, around 10:55 PM on December 14.

The Metropolitan Police got the call and rushed to Portland Road. They weren’t alone; London Ambulance Service was right there too, ready to help out.

Two people ended up in the hospital, while two others were treated on the spot and sent home. Interestingly, three more folks decided they didn’t need any treatment at all.

There’s a photo floating around showing emergency responders working hard at the scene, with a cordon set up to keep things safe.

The bus looked pretty banged up, with its roof all ripped off and hanging over the back. It’s a real mess!

Right now, the police are looking into what exactly happened. A spokesperson from the ambulance service confirmed they sent a full team to handle the situation.

They took two people to the hospital and helped a couple more right there. It’s good to know they were on it!
