Woolwich: A tragic incident unfolded when a 14-year-old boy named Kelyan was stabbed on a bus. He was a former student at St Columba’s Catholic Boy’s School in Bexleyheath.

This heartbreaking event happened around 2:30 PM on January 7. Kelyan was reportedly known as “Grippa” in the online rap scene. He had just released a music video on Christmas Day.

Emergency services rushed to the scene, but sadly, he passed away shortly after they arrived. The school expressed its sorrow, saying they were deeply saddened by the loss.

They offered support to students affected by this senseless act of violence. Friends have been sharing tributes online, calling him “gone too soon” and emphasizing how precious life is.

Deputy Commander Louise Sargent described the stabbing as a “horrendous crime” and reassured the community that police are actively investigating to find those responsible.

She acknowledged the fear this incident has caused, especially given the victim’s young age. Just a day before, another stabbing occurred nearby, but police confirmed the two incidents are unrelated.

If anyone has information about the stabbing, they’re encouraged to reach out to the police or Crimestoppers anonymously.
