Arsenal’s lineup against Fulham sees Gabriel missing again, with key changes as they aim for a fifth straight win in the Premier League.
London: Arsenal is gearing up for their match against Fulham without their defender Gabriel once again. He missed the last game too, a solid 2-0 win over Manchester United.
In his place, Jakub Kiwior will team up with William Saliba at center-back. It’s a bit of a shake-up, but they’ve been doing well together.
Thomas Partey is stepping in at right-back, while Jurrian Timber takes the left side. In midfield, Jorginho joins Martin Odegaard and Declan Rice. Fun fact: Odegaard is captaining the team for the 100th time!
Leandro Trossard is starting in attack instead of Gabriel Martinelli, with Trossard and Bukayo Saka supporting Kai Havertz, who’s leading the line.
Unfortunately, Riccardo Calafiori and Oleksandr Zinchenko are also out for this match. Arsenal has made a couple of changes from their last game, with Jorginho coming in for Zinchenko.
They’re heading to Craven Cottage on a high, having won four matches in a row. If they win today, they could close the gap to just four points behind Liverpool at the top of the Premier League.
Here’s the confirmed lineup: Raya; Partey, Saliba, Kiwior, Timber; Odegaard, Jorginho, Rice; Saka, Havertz, Trossard. The bench includes Neto, Tierney, Heaven, Lewis-Skelly, Merino, Sterling, Jesus, Martinelli, and Nwaneri.
Kick-off is at 2pm GMT, and you can catch it on Sky Sports. Let’s see how they do!
